Diese Website ist aus Neugier entstanden. Aus dem Wunsch, Dinge nicht nur zu konsumieren, sondern einzuordnen, zu hinterfragen und weiterzudenken. Mich interessieren Themen, die größer sind als eine einzelne Nachricht oder ein kurzfristiger Trend.

Musik ist für mich kein Beiwerk, sondern ein zentrales Thema. Vor allem Blues-Rock begleitet mich seit Jahrzehnten, nicht nur als Hörer, sondern auch aus eigener Spielerfahrung. Mich interessiert dabei weniger der schnelle Effekt oder technische Virtuosität, sondern Ausdruck, Haltung und Substanz. Gute Musik erzählt etwas, über ihre Zeit, über die Menschen dahinter, manchmal auch über mich selbst. Ich habe große Freude daran, neue Alben zu entdecken, einzuordnen und vorzustellen, jenseits des bloßen Hypes. Mich reizt das Wiederentdecken ebenso wie der Blick auf aktuelle Veröffentlichungen, die etwas Eigenes zu sagen haben. Musik ist für mich Recherche, Leidenschaft und Gespräch zugleich.

Ein zweiter Schwerpunkt ist alles Digitale. Computer, Technik, das Internet. Dinge, die mein Leben über Jahrzehnte begleitet haben und es immer wieder verändert haben. Mit der Künstlichen Intelligenz ist ein Thema dazugekommen, das vieles bündelt, was mich schon lange beschäftigt. Fortschritt und Versprechen, aber auch Risiken, Verzerrungen und Machtfragen. Ich begegne KI offen und neugierig, aber nicht unkritisch. Begeisterung schließt Skepsis nicht aus.

Auf dieser Seite schreibe ich als journalistischer Beobachter. Noch mehr ordnend als kommentierend, aber mit klarer Haltung. Ich möchte informieren, Zusammenhänge sichtbar machen und Themen beleuchten, die im Mainstream oft zu kurz kommen oder zu schnell abgehandelt werden. Nicht missionarisch, sondern engagiert und gründlich.

Was mich dabei antreibt, ist ein Interesse am großen Bild. Mich reizt der Hintergrund mehr als die Schlagzeile, das Warum mehr als das bloße Was. Recherchieren, vergleichen, Zweifel zulassen. Die Möglichkeiten der KI haben diesem Ansatz eine neue Dimension gegeben und gleichzeitig neue Fragen aufgeworfen.

This website grew out of curiosity. Out of the desire not just to consume information, but to place it in context, question it, and think it through. I am interested in topics that are larger than a single headline or a short-lived trend.

Music is one of them, especially blues rock. It has accompanied me for decades, not only as a listener but also through my own experience as a musician. What matters to me is not virtuosity for its own sake, but expression, attitude, and substance. Good music tells a story, about its time, about the people behind it, and sometimes about myself. I enjoy discovering strong albums, revisiting overlooked ones, and presenting them with context, beyond hype and algorithms. For me, music is passion, research, and conversation at the same time.

Another major focus is the digital world. Computers, technology, the internet. Things that have shaped my life for many years and continue to do so. With artificial intelligence, a topic has emerged that brings many of these interests together. Progress and promise on the one hand, risks, distortions, and power structures on the other. I approach AI with openness and curiosity, but not without critical distance. Enthusiasm and skepticism are not contradictions.

On this site, I write as a journalistic observer. More concerned with structuring and understanding than with quick commentary, but with a clear point of view. My aim is to inform, to reveal connections, and to explore topics that are often treated superficially or ignored in the mainstream. Not to persuade, but to engage and inform thoroughly.

What drives me is an interest in the bigger picture. I am more drawn to background than to headlines, to the question of why rather than just what. Research, comparison, and doubt are part of the process. The rise of AI has expanded these possibilities considerably and at the same time raised new questions.
